Sports Bio
I am a player on the Ladies European Tour (LET) and LET Access Tour. I started playing golf at the age of ten by ‘accident’ as my Dad and brother both played. Throughout my amateur career I had a lot of support from my family with my Dad as my main caddie and my Mum and Grandad’s coming to watch the majority of the competitions I played in. During my amateur career I represented Yorkshire Junior Girls team captaining them on several occasions eventually been promoted to the Yorkshire Ladies County Golf team on several occasions during county week and county finals, holing the winning putt in 2007 for Yorkshire to win for the third year running.
I love playing golf, especially with most of my family playing, several times a year my Dad and Uncles organise family golf days, where I get to spend time playing a game I love with the people I love!
I do enjoy playing other sports. I play badminton several times a week with my family and boyfriend as well as table tennis and sometimes a bit of pool.
My main sporting influence is Seve Ballasteros
Personal Bio
I love to keep up with the latest fashion both on the course and outside of golf. Therefore my second sport has to be shopping! I love shopping in big cities, especially York, Manchester and Newcastle. My favourite shops have to be: Topshop, New Look and House of Fraser. My main addiction when shopping has to be handbags and purses – which everyone knows you can never have enough of!
My family, friends and boyfriend mean the world to me, they’re always really supportive and I love spending time with them. I really enjoy going to the cinema, music concerts and bowling! Currently I’m waiting to go see Take That with my Mum, which I can’t wait for!
I do like a bit of pampering, can’t beat a good massage and getting your nails done! I’m also more of a summer person; I love a bit of sun to top up my golfers tan! I’m a bit of a gym fanatic, I love getting up and having a daft o’clock work outs or heading out for a run! It’s a great way to start the day. I can be a bit of a adrenalin junky too! I love things like Go Ape (giant obstacle courses up in the trees using ladders, walkways, bridges and tunnels made of wood, rope and super-strong wire and zip lines) and theme parks!
